Databases on the Web

Links to and descriptions of bibliographic databases freely available on the web.

The databases listed here are offered as a supplement to the library's primary databases. They are specialized bibliographic databases devoted to various subject areas, and range from pure indexes, to indexes with abstracts, to full-text documents. Some are more difficult to use than others. The reference librarians can advise you about choice of databases and how to use them. Visit the reference desk, call 503-399-5231, or e-mail reference@chemeketa.edu for assistance, or to obtain articles. * Databases in bold print with asterisks * are suggested as  starting points.
