BA101 Introduction to Business

Welcome to the Library! We're glad you're here.

BA 101 requires the use of outside sources and research to explore current issues, trends, and topics.

The Library has resources that will make your research easier. We collaborate with business program instructors and they like it when their students work with the librarians. When you need research assistance or if there is something confusing on this guide, please contact us via email or chat at Ask A Librarian

Things to do in the library...

Chat with a Librarian Online or at the Reference Desk

Visit the Ask A Librarian page to get assistance via email or chat. Librarians can help with library searches, finding and accessing electronic or print resources, or any other research need.

Access Resources Online

Electronic items make up the bulk of the library collection. You have access to thousands of articles, eBooks, news sources, media, and other resources in electronic format. Start with a Primo Library Search or choose a Database and start searching. You will be prompted to log in with your Chemeketa username and password to access items online.

Borrow Books and Textbooks

Students may find and request books using Primo Library Search. When requesting the book, indicate the desired pick-up location (e.g. Salem Campus, YVC, Polk Center) or follow instructions for having items mailed. For information on borrowing textbooks, visit our College Lending Library guide.

Find Research Guides

The Library Research Guides provide support for Chemeketa courses, subjects areas, and specific research skill topics such as citing sources, evaluating sources, using article databases, and finding statistics.
