Getting Started - Accessing College Level Sources

Welcome College Credit Now Students and Faculty! We're glad you're here.

CCN Faculty

Faculty, please visit the Faculty Resource Guide. Librarians are happy to provide research instruction for CCN classes. We will meet with your class in Zoom or Google Hangout sessions and we also have asynchronous instruction support available. Please visit the Faculty Resource Guide for information about scheduling synchronous and asynchronous instruction tailored to meet the needs of your class.

CCN Students

College Credit Now students have access to the Chemeketa Community College Library collections to support college level research. In addition to our physical collection, there is online access to eBooks, 80+ databases, and thousands of articles available via the library website. Librarians provide one-on-one assistance and instruction and we encourage students to contact us via chat or email

Log In to Online Resources

Students receive a Chemeketa username and password when they register and use that account to log in to online resources.

The CCN registration timeline does not coincide with the regular college term and there may be times when students need access to college sources but do not have an active Chemeketa account. Registering as soon as possible will help make access easier, but we do have a generic username and password that will authorize students to access the most necessary resources. CCN staff email the generic login information to teachers at the beginning of each term.

Students who need to login should do the following

  1. If you have a Chemeketa username and password, test your account by logging in to one of these databases. If it works, great!
  2. Not registered or don't have a Chemeketa account yet? No problem. Register as soon as deadlines allow. In the meantime, do one of the following to get temporary log in information:
