Some Primo Records Not Linking to Full Text

by Kathleen Veldhuisen on August 4th, 2020 | 0 Comments

Our Primo Library Search underwent a major change last week.  The vendor is using a completely different way of supplying records for articles, which has caused some linking problems as we settle into the new system.  Although most scholarly journal articles are linking properly, certain news items, like transcripts of television news, are not linking.  If an item says Full text available on the results screen, but has no full text on the full record for that item, please get in touch with a reference librarian for help.

If you wish, you can try searching directly in a database interface like Gale PowerSearch or Primo Central. Both are available on our database page.

Update: An adjustment improved the linking for items marked "Evideo" and for some news transcripts on August 12. Some other items, such as technical reports and some dissertations, are still not linking correctly. We regret the inconvenience and are still working with the vendor to remedy the situation as quickly as we can.
