Come and join the fun!
Proquest will be taking a maintenance window of up to eight hours on Saturday, August 9 from 7 pm to 3 am. on August 10. Many Proquest products will be unavailable during that time.
Chemeketa Community College library is moving to a new service for requesting library items, called Rapido. Rapido will offer improved ease of requesting and many more items directly requestable in the Primo Library Search.
Just as before, Chemeketa employees and students for credit can sign in to request articles and physical items from our Summit Partners (The Orbis Cascade Alliance). Instead of a Summit Plus link, users will see boxes ("tiles") that offer physical and/or digital request service. The difference is, that instead of only those partners, users will be able to request physical items from a wider array of libraries and have them sent to a Chemeketa location.
You may notice some other things that have changed. The labels for print and ebooks, for example, have changed to accomodate Primo. To show only ebooks, users will need to use the Full Text Online filter as well as the Book (E or requestable) filter.
Chemeketa plans March 6 as its first day for the new requesting system.
On Sunday, November 1, EZproxy will be undergoing maintenance from 05 am through 09:30 am Pacific Time. This may temporarily hinder off-campus access to electronic resources.
Due to the holiday library closure, Summit Plus and CCRLS Bridge requesting will be unavailable from December 18 to January 1.
Summit Plus lets you request journal articles electronically and physical items such as books and DVDs from our Orbis Cascade Alliance partner colleges and universities.
The CCRLS Bridge lets you request physical items from public libraries in the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service.
For more information on requesting materials, please see our Requesting guide.
College Lending Library Requests for winter term textbooks 2025 begin: Monday, December 9, 2024. Textbook requests made before December 9 will be cancelled.
Please be aware that if you are making a request using Summit Plus that Summit Plus requesting will be unavailable from December 18 to January 1, due to the holiday library closure.
For more information on requesting textbooks, please see our Guide.
Articles delivered through Summit Plus requests are now downloading normally from the delivery email. A technical problem was causing an error message to appear, but it has been rectified by the vendor.
