FAQs about the Library Instruction Room

Where is the library instruction room?

The Library is on the second floor of Building 9. As you enter the library, you will be facing the Reference Desk and Instruction Room 240 to the left just past the general use computers.

Is there a limit to how many people can be in the library instruction room?

Yes, the maximum the room can handle is 40 students, and there are computers available for 20 students. If you have more than 20 students attending library instruction, encourage some to bring personal laptops.

What is the library instruction room used for?

Its primary use is for library instruction sessions taught by librarians, as well as for seminars/trainings/workshops led by Library staff. When the room is not being used for those purposes, it is kept open as study space for students. The library instruction room is not available for bookings of regular classes.
