WR121 Self-Guided Tutorial

Welcome to the WR121 tutorial. Part A covers scholarly and popular sources, using the Primo Library Search, and using library databases. Part B covers evaluating sources.

  1. (Optional) If you are not at all familiar with the library, view the brief introduction video
  2. Go through the WR121 tutorials A and B and complete the self-test quizzes. 

When you have completed a quiz you will have the opportunity to download a certificate to show that you have completed  that part of the tutorial.

  • Requesting items that Chemeketa does not have in its collection
  • How to use ProQuest Central, including filters
  • Obtaining an MLA or APA citation in ProQuest
  • Saving from Proquest to your Chemeketa Google drive

  • Evaluating sources for credibility
  • The lateral reading technique
  • Analyzing an article and tracing back to the source of the information
