ENG221 - Topics in British Literature - Tolkien: Searching for Books

Finding Books

Use the Primo Library Search to search for books, articles and media.  Numerous ebooks are available to Chemeketa students. If you are using these resources from off campus, you will need to choose "Chemeketa Students & Employees" and log in with your college single sign-on.

If what you want is not in Chemeketa's library, you can request  books from more than 30 Orbis Cascade Alliance college and university libraries that Chemeketa shares materials with. For a list of the Orbis Cascade/Summit libraries, go to Member Libraries.    Chemeketa students taking at least one credit hour and Chemeketa employees may request items from Summit Libraries and have them sent to Chemeketa. It takes about five days to get a book and the service is free.

Your can also find books in CCRLS public libraries in the library search and request them: see CCRLS Bridge for information.

If you live too far away from an Orbis Cascade Alliance or CCRLS public library, contact your local public library. If you local public library offers interlibrary loan service, they can request the book for you.  Electronic books are not available through interlibrary loan.

The Primo Library Search is used to find books, articles, images and videos available at Chemeketa's library and at libraries that share materials with us.  The links below will automatically do a Library Search.  Try doing a few searches on your own, too.
