Returning Library Items

Thank you for checking out items from the Library.  There are multiple options for returning your items (books, dvds, calculators, CCRLS items, and Lending Library items).  Once we have received your items they will be in quarantine for one week before they are checked in.

Option 1 - Return items to the outside bookdrop

  • Outside bookdrops are available at the Salem Campus, Yamhill Valley Campus (YVC), and the Woodburn Public Library.
    • The Salem bookdrop is located outside of building 9 near the green parking lot
    • The YVC bookdrop is located outside the front doors of building 1
    • The Woodburn bookdrop is located off of 2nd street

Option 3 - Renew your items

Items can be kept longer if needed for Fall term; submit the Renewal Form.

Exceptions - Laptops and Chromebooks

Please DO NOT return your electronic device through the mail or the bookdrop.   Visit Laptop Requests, Returns, and Renewals to schedule a time to return your item. If you are registered for Fall Term please fill out the renewal survey to request to keep it longer.  If you have questions please contact the library.
