Mental Health Search Terms

The search terms you use make a big difference in the results you get.  Research usually requires many searches using different combinations of search terms. Listed below are just a few to try. Use them in Primo Library Search, library databases, and other online search tools.

In most databases, putting the search terms in quotation marks if they are more than one word can improve the search results. For example "mental health". There is no need to use quotation marks on single search terms. For example a search for anxiety - no quotation marks necessary.

"mental health"
"mental health services"
counseling
anxiety
