Summit is coming back! A slightly modified version of Summit will be available to Orbis Cascade Alliance libraries that opt in. Summit is the name of the requesting system that allows Alliance libraries to borrow books and other materials from one another.
Chemeketa begins Summit lending on Monday, August 10. Summit borrowing begins on Tuesday, August 11. As always, logging into the Primo Library Search with your regular Chemeketa login will let you see Summit request links for physical items that Chemeketa doesn't have in its collection.
Delivery time for requests in Summit will be longer than the usual five days. This is caused by a more limited courier service, by fewer libraries participating, and by item quarantine requirements. Users should allow two weeks for delivery, so early requesting is essential.
