Users of Medline on PubMed will see a completely redesigned interface that is fully responsive for use on mobile devices.
The filters for the results list have been made much easier to use, and the Article Type filter has been simplified.
Clicking the title of an article brings up a much-improved abstract page. Students will be pleased to find the Cite button that allows you to select from citations in various formats, including APA and MLA. (As always, check the citation against a reference source such as the Chemeketa Handbook before turning in an assignment.)
Another aid to research is the list of similar articles. There is also a set of references from the article, along with links to articles that have cited it.
The reader can scroll from one article to the next without returning to the list of search results.
