e-Shelf: How to Use It: Adding Items to the e-Shelf

How to use the E-Shelf in the Library Search to save and arrange sources

Library E-Shelf Helps You Save and Arrange Sources

The library search has an E-Shelf feature that lets you gather materials together (for example for e-mailing), and lets you save them for your projects. Sign into the library search to save your sources. picture of top of library search page showing e-shelf, account, and sign in links

You can sign in with your My Chemeketa information either at the beginning of a session, or by clicking the Sign In link on the library search page.

Adding Items to the E-Shelf

Each item in a library search result list has an e-Shelf selector ("Add to e-Shelf") next to the title. The selector is in the shape of a small star outline that is "lit up" after you have clicked to add the item.

Another way to add an item to the e-Shelf is to use the Actions menu in the View It, Details, or Get It tab. picture of book record showing details tab open and indicating add to e-shelf in the actions menu
