College Credit Now: Accessing College Level Resources

Getting Started - - Accessing College Level Research Sources Online

Welcome to the Library! We're here to support your college level research. In addition to our physical collection, you have online access to eBooks, 80+ databases, and thousands of articles available via the library website. Librarians are here to provide instruction and assistance. Use this guide to learn about library research tools, and to learn about research expectations in the general education transfer undergraduate writing sequence.

CCN Log in Information

You receive a
MyChemeketa username and password when you register and you use that account to log in to online resources. The CCN registration timeline does not coincide with the regular college term and there may be times when you need to do research without an active
MyChemeketa account. Registering as soon as possible will help minimize those times. Generic username and password only authorize you to access some resources, not all.

1. If you have a MyChemeketa username and password, test your account by logging in to one of these databases. If it works, great!

2. Not registered or don't have a MyChemeketa account yet? No problem. Register as soon as deadlines allow. In the meantime, do one of the following to get temporary log in information:

  • ask your CCN instructor for the account log in information
  • contact Marlene Hernandez with CCN administration at 503.584.7349
  • contact the Reference Desk at 503.399-5231
  • call or email me directly (see contact info for Michele Burke on this page)

Again, the generic username and password only authorize you to access some resources, not all.
